ShamRocks Fitness is a site to find resources, insightful articles, discussions, and more relating to fitness and wellness. Helping you reach optimum health is my goal. In addition to reading great tips on health and wellness, I can work with you, one on one, to achieve your goals. Over the years I have worked with many people to help them attain their optimum health. All information I provide is science-based, so you have the comfort of knowing that everything we do has been tried and true. I have heard from many discouraged people, clients included, about the creditability of their last trainers. Online Personal Training
If you have a busy schedule and can’t make it to the gym, online personal training is for you in achieving your health & fitness goals. Through online personal training, each client starts with a consultation to understand their needs, commitment level, and current health & fitness conditions. During this time, you will perform a health risk assessment and a fitness test. Clients will have the opportunity to improve their cardio endurance, overall strength, functional movements, core stability, and more. Nutritional education will be offered to assist those who are trying to improve their weight or performance. All exercises will be aligned with the client’s current goals and health conditions to allow for measurable improvements and safeguard from injuries.
If you are already on your way to optimum health and fitness but still stuck on what to eat, contact me and I’ll help you fill that missing link. Your diet (meaning what you consume) is the essential component of any fitness and health plan. Without the proper nutrients, your body will not be able to function at optimal levels. This can slow down the improvements of your work, or even worse, stop it completely! Understand the importance of a balance diet and you’ll see how small tweaks can help you make giant improvements.
TRX Suspension Training Class
The name is out there and the classes are crowded. TRX suspension training has become the new tool for cardio, strength, and core training. Developed by Navy Seals to exercise while on tour, this portable piece of equipment gives you a total body workout without the bulk of machines. If you’re in the Sarasota area and your up for an exciting and energetic workout, come join my class. Classes are held at HealthFit – Powered by Sarasota Memorial (click here for directions) on Mondays and Saturdays at 6:00 PM.

Adventure Race Training
If this is your first Mudder (or Warrior Dash, Spartan, Savage) race and you don’t know how to prepare, contact me. If you’re a veteran, but want to get over that wall (or any obstacle) without someone helping you, contact me. I’ll get you climbing, crawling, and running under and over any Mudder, Warrior, Spartan, or muddy obstacle they have in your way. This training plan is for all ability levels and dependent upon your time frame. Contact me when you’re ready to answer, “Are you tough enough?”
